Dr. S.P.S. Grewal, a distinguished ophthalmologist with over four decades of experience, serves as a professor at Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University USA, and has completed more than 80,000 eye surgeries. His expertise, particularly in advanced cataract and refractive surgeries, has earned him international acclaim, including many awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

As the founder of the Grewal Eye Institute in Chandigarh in 1993, Dr. Grewal has revolutionized eye care in India, combining state-of-the-art treatment with compassionate care. The hospital, known for its advanced technological integration WITH personalized CARE, also serves as center for advanced learning, affiliated with prestigious U.S. universities, and attracts global residents every year.  Dr. SPS Grewal’s interests outside the medical field, such as photography and programming, underscore his continuous pursuit of innovation and his passion for adopting new technologies. This enthusiasm further extends to his personal hobbies, including cycling and hiking, which embody his dynamic approach to life and work.

Beyond his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Grewal is committed to community service. Through the Grewal Eye Institute, he organizes free eye camps and surgeries for the underprivileged, extending his impact to rural areas. Additionally, in collaboration with the Rotary Club, he has played a key role in international initiatives, such as the Serve Beyond Borders project in Uganda, further demonstrating his dedication to global eye health.
